I watched them for a bit and had a sudden spark of inspiration to write a list of things I want to do before I have children and get married. What do I want to do during the years I have left as a young, independent woman? No other question could thrill me as much. I do want to get married and have kids eventually (3 is a nice number), but I still have so many things I want to accomplish before then.

Michelle, Your writing is amazing. I read every blog. This one inspired me (actually they all do) and also made me want to turn back the clock. I wish I had the youth/time that you have. But, I was very fortunate to have done the "Europe thing" back then too. But now, you have inspired me to create new goals. Not to just live life day by day, paying bills, going to work, having a few precious moments with friends. I WILL go to Greece. I WILL walk in the woods alone. I WILL sing out loud if I hear a song no matter where I am.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much for your inspiration but most of all, thank you for being the most amazing human being that you are. Us old folks could learn a thing or two from you.
Love you. Live life to it's fullest and never regret a moment. When I start to regret, I think that it happened for a reason and I have learned a valuable life lesson.

Thank you so much for the kind words! I love that people are enjoying my blog and learning something from it. Its great to know you have a knack for traveling and recognize that there is much more to life than every day tasks. An interesting question that was posed on one of my favourite blogs was, "Do you feel like you have lived this day 100 times before?" Do something every day to make it special and unique. You should absoluely go to Greece (and take me with you)! It means a lot to me that you appreciate my work and are inspired by it. I will definietly remember what you said. When I get home let's enjoy a glass (or bottle) of wine on a Girl's Night (because I'm almost legal in Canada, you know).
